Plot twist, it's actually great!
The beautiful king room was super clean, and the attention from the staff, especially during breakfast, was commendable. Cleanliness in common areas stood out, along with a refreshing pool. Our needs were met promptly, we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout.

This hotel is old. They've updated the rooms but the baths need new tile, etc. However, for a room price of under $70, you can't have it all. The staff is friendly. The room was clean. The breakfast is standard fare. There is massive construction on I-35 around the hotel which makes access a little challenging but doable. Overall, for a one-night stay, it was good.
Clean room. Quiet. Located right off I-35. Lots of restaurants within a mile or so. Staff friendly. Right price for a one night stay.
Outside dated and in need of paint, etc. Bathrooms need new tile.

solid stay with minor drawbacks
The room was impressively clean and felt new, with fresh bedding and plenty of pillows. The breakfast offered a good surprise with a touchless pancake maker that produced a genuine treat.
There was a $2 charge assessed upon check-in that was a surprise.

This wasn't what I expected, Good or Bad?
The breakfast was delicious! Enjoyed the fresh pancakes and variety of options that started my day off right. My room reminded me of it was new, very clean, and had a comfortable king-sized bed.
Check-in was frustrating. The key card didn't work multiple times, and I dealt with a musty smell and damp carpet. I was disappointed that the toilet overflowed, reflecting poor maintenance.

The beautiful king room was super clean and super comfy. The breakfast area had a nice variety, and the staff, especially the lady monitoring breakfast, kept everything clean and neat. The outdoor pool was perfect for unwinding after a busy day!
